Mr S Krishnamurthy, former MD & CEO of SBI Life Insurance Co LTd has served for more than 38 years in State Bank of India. Mr Krishnamurthy has rich experience in the Banking & Insurance industry, where he has handled leadership positions having strong exposure to corporate finance, project appraisal, retail finance and SME lending besides gaining invaluable insight in the emerging field of Life Insurance.
He initiated in SME lending early in his career, and did pioneering work on 'Entrepreneur Scheme' and development of Ancillary units. With an experience of 18 years in Corporate Finance and Project Finance he was closely associated with several policy initiatives and their implementation at the National level.
He also served as Nominee Director on behalf of the State Bank of India in two companies in which the bank had assumed equity exposures, India Equipment & Leasing Co Ltd, a subsidiary of Sundaram Finance Ltd and Tidel Park Ltd, a Government of Tamil Nadu undertaking.
K M Mohandass
Mr. K. M. Mohandass is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and is the senior partner in K M Mohandass & Co, Chartered Accountants. He has over three decades of experience in auditing, project finance, income tax and advising on mergers and acquisitions
Krishnamurthy Vijayan is a veteran of the mutual fund industry in India having served the industry in various capacities for more than 25 years. He has served as MD & CEO of IDBI Asset Management Ltd., Executive Chairman of JP Morgan Asset management India Private Limited, CEO of JM Financial Mutual Fund. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the Indian mutual fund industry and has been active member of a number of industry bodies, including the Governing Board of Association of Mutual Funds in India; FICCI Capital Markets Committee: BSE Index Committee: and SEBI Committee on Investor Education (Training Material). He was a member of the Standing Committee on AMFI Registration and Chairman, AMFI Working Group on Market Information Bureau. He left the industry in 2011 (remains Trustee SBIMF) to begin his “internship” in the social sphere. He is an advisor and investor in Aarohana Dairy Pvt. Ltd., a social enterprise based in Tanjore, Tamil Nadu. He was also the Co-Chairman of Mi India Capital Pvt. Ltd., a social enterprise focused on enhancing the effectiveness of Micro Finance. He has obtained Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Arts degrees from Ravishankar University.
Dr Shailesh J Mehta
Dr. Shailesh Mehta is an Operating Advisor at WestBridge Capital, looking at investment opportunities in the financial services space. Shailesh currently serves as a General Partner at Granite Hill Capital Partners, a venture capital firm focused on investments in Silicon Valley technology startups and select India related opportunities.
Previously, Shailesh served as Chairman and CEO of Providian Financial, which he built from a small team into a Fortune 300 company – one of the country’s top ten credit card issuers. Prior to Providian, Shailesh was Executive VP of AmeriTrust (now KeyCorp), the largest bank in Ohio at the time. Upon leaving Providian in 2000, Shailesh joined WestBridge Capital (Sequoia Capital India) as Operating General Partner, where he invested in India. Shailesh served on the boards of Manappuram Finance and First Source and as a GP at Invesco Capital. He is currently on the board of India Shelter Finance, Vistaar Finance, NetaFim Agro Finance (NAFA), Seed Info Tech and Safari Industries.
Dr. Mehta holds a Ph.D. in Operation Research and Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University and a B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology(IIT),Bombay.
KP Balaraj is a co-founder and Managing Director of WestBridge Capital in India. KP was also a co-founder and Managing Director of Sequoia Capital India. Earlier, KP was part of Goldman Sachs where he served as a member of Goldman-backed funds and operating companies that focused on private equity in Asia.

KP currently serves on the Advisory Board of Harvard University’s South Asia Institute.
KP received an MBA from Harvard Business School, a BS in Business Management from Brigham Young University, Hawaii, where he graduated as valedictorian of his class. He is a former top ranked national tennis player, having represented India at the international level.
Pankaj Vaish is based in Bangalore, and has over 32 years of experience in technology led transformation, consulting, offshoring and outsourcing. He has built businesses from scratch and scaled them to global proportions. In more recent times, he has been actively engaged in the financial services industry and in academia.
He started his career in 1985 with Accenture and was with the company for over 28+ years. He was part of the founding team for Accenture’s India operations. He has wide ranging experience across the spectrum of professional services, including technology driven transformation, strategy and process consulting, BPO, P&L management, large / complex deals, M&A etc.
Pankaj was an Independent Director on the board of Lakshmi Vilas Bank (LVB) for 3 years from August 2014 until July 2017. LVB is a rapidly growing, publicly listed private bank in India. During his tenure at LVB, he was a member of many key Board Committees, including the Audit, Management, HR and IT Strategy Committees. He was closely involved with its transformation, of which technology is a key focus. LVB is now ranked amongst the 500 best companies in India and is included in the MSCI India Small Cap Fund.
Pankaj is currently a Professor of Practice of Management at the Amrut Mody School of Management (AMSOM), Ahmedabad University, where he is engaged on a part time basis. In that role, Pankaj is supporting a variety of activities in supporting AMSOM in its transformation to becoming a globally relevant institution. In particular, he is involved with redesign of the MBA program and development of the Executive Education program. Pankaj is also developing and delivering two new courses to help the MBA students of AMSOM prepare for a career in industry.
When he left as MD of Accenture in 2014, he was a member of the global leadership team of the Communications, Media and Technology (CMT) business, where he held various roles, including Asia Pacific MD and Global MD of CMT Management Consulting. During this tenure, Pankaj led the effort for acquiring a technology services company in Bangladesh.
Previously he was the MD of Accenture’s Global Delivery Center Network for BPO, which covered 15 centers across 10 countries. Before that he founded Accenture’s BPO operations in India and ran them for 4 years, growing from zero to 6,000 people. His contributions to Accenture's HR function and the BPO industry in India earned him the prestigious "CEO with HR Orientation" Award by ACCOR Services.
Pankaj was center stage in the transformation of Accenture India into a global powerhouse, starting as a founding member of its India consulting practice in 1987-88. He also contributed to the Accenture strategic agenda such as Horizon 2012, Human Capital Strategy and Leadership Careers Framework.
Pankaj is active in India's startup ecosystem. He is advising 3 startups – a company with an automation suite for Employee Cooperative Credit Societies (ECCS) and Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACS), an on-demand micro information services provider to companies and a social media platform that enables brands to directly connect with consumers. He is a member of various angel investing forums, including Keiretsu, a global angel investor network, IvyCamp, India’s first Unified Innovation and Entrepreneurship Platform, leveraging the global alumni network of leading educational institutions in India and 1Crowd, an equity crowd funding platform for startups and early stage companies that aims to provide a best-in-class startup ecosystem that spans origination, deal sourcing and capital raising through to investment monitoring and mentoring.
Pankaj has an MBA from Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA and a B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT-BHU (Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University). He was a Gold Medalist at IIT-BHU, and he has been awarded the Distinguished Alumni award by IIT-BHU Alumni Association.
Suman Bollina is a Co-Founder and Managing partner of Sri Santhi Corp, a family owned and run business based at Andhra Pradesh. He has over 7 years experience in procurement of land, conceptualization of projects, construction and sale of apartments, villas and gated communities. Key responsibilities include new project conceptualization, design, procurement , planning of construction / development and marketing.
Suman received an MBA from SP Jain Centre of Management, Dubai/Singapore and an engineering graduate, BE (Hons) from Birla Institute of Technology & Science Pilani.
